The opening ceremony of a permanent exhibition on the life of John Smythe on 25th October 2024.

John Smythe is buried at St Mary’s church in Thame, Oxfordshire and is honoured by the Town Council and the Museum. Celebrity chef and businessman Levi Roots was amongst the guests with the RAF and International Bomber Command sending representatives to honour his extraordinary life.
